Description
The species itself grows naturally from the southern Urals to Mongolia and northwest China in the steppes and rocky slopes. Very frost-resistant. The variety has nice compact and slightly twisted foliage up to 30 cm high and lilac flowers up to 50 cm long bloom above the foliage in June-July. The blooming flower buds are decorative even before blooming.
