Description
Already 5000 years ago, the ancient Romans and Egyptians used wild garlic as a medicinal and aromatic herb. It contains rich bioactive substances and essential oils. All parts of the plant are used - fresh, frozen, dried, pickled, salted, marinated. Wild garlic prefers a moist and humus-rich growing site with diffused light. The vegetation period is quite short - after flowering and seed ripening, the plant goes into dormancy. In the home garden, it could be planted in the shade of shrubs and trees, where there is enough moisture and the soil does not heat up too much. The propagation I offer does not come from Estonian nature!
