Description
A very high-quality, delicate, tender rhubarb is the new Sanvitos® 'Summer' variety. The special thing is: This rhubarb variety can also be harvested in summer and autumn, making it ideal for year-round forcing and has a long harvest time from May to October. With somewhat cooler temperatures in autumn, a larger harvest can be expected than in summer. Its bright red color is a real highlight in your vegetable patch. Fine, delicious rhubarb taste, milder than the purely green varieties. The rhubarb plants Sanvitos® 'Summer' prefer a sunny to partially shaded location, as they develop best here. If the place is too shady, the harvest will be smaller and only very thin rhubarb stalks will form. Nutritious and sandy-loamy soil is ideal.
