Description

An heirloom variety from around 1850. A good old "sweeter" variety with bright red stems and pink flesh. Stem length 60cm. Well suited for layering. Easy to grow. Good for use in compotes, jelly or as a cake topping. Requires moderately moist, rich growing conditions. Treat with compost every spring.
