Description
The foliage, resembling the fluff of grasses, consists of narrow, 40 cm long leaves. In June-July, the fascinating violet-blue flowers are located on inflorescences half as short as the leaves. The flowers have an exciting scent of ripe plum. The ribbed seed pods are also beautiful. Moderately moist sunny/partially shaded growing location. It also tolerates heavy clay soil well. It prefers slightly acidic soil. The beauty of the fluff is especially evident on slopes.
