Goldenrods – sunny yellow flowers for the late summer garden

Goldenrod ( Solidago ) is a hardy and undemanding perennial that covers itself with warm yellow feathery inflorescences in late summer and autumn. Attracting a lot of pollinators, the plant is a welcome addition of color at a time when many other flowering plants are already fading. Goldenrod prefers a sunny location and is suitable for both natural and cut flower beds.
