Description
In Estonian conditions, perhaps one of the most winter-hardy steppe grass species. Airy and graceful grass with fine, silky inflorescences that begin to move beautifully in the wind at the end of summer. Height 40-80 cm. Prefers a sunny and drier location and soil with good drainage. Does not tolerate excessive moisture in winter. Well suited for rock gardens, dry beds or a garden close to nature. Undemanding and winter-hardy plant that adds lightness and airiness to the planting area.
