Description
Unlike its drought-loving rock garden relatives, this perennial from the mountain forests of the Far East is a real gift for the shade garden. It feels best in humus-rich, moderately moist, but well-drained soil. In a suitable, wetter location, the plant thrives and spreads very vigorously and carefree. Whitish-pink flower whorls open above the low leafy ground in May-June. Height at flowering 35-40 cm.
