Description
While the Spanish artichoke is mainly eaten for its petiole, the common artichoke is eaten for its flower buds. It is a little more hardy, but also sensitive to cold in Estonia and it is safer to take it to the basement for the winter. It will definitely not overwinter without proper winter cover. Height 100-150 cm.
