Description
A plant for poor soil with good drainage, evergreen. Interspecific hybrid. Blooms 2-4 weeks earlier than common sea urchin and is more resistant to excess winter moisture. The inflorescences open above a dark green grass-like tuft from May to the end of June. Flowering can be prolonged by consistently removing spent inflorescences. Re-blooming towards the end of summer.
