Description
The newly opened leaves are slightly mottled purple/dark green, and as the leaf stalk grows, an upright white simple flower opens at the tip of the leaf. Over time, as the leaf grows, the already wilted flower remains under the foliage and develops into a large, egg-shaped red fruit in the second half of summer. Cool, moderately moist, shady or semi-shady location.
