Description

Lower and more compact than the main species. Mint Monarda grows well in both slightly acidic and calcareous, moderately moist soil in full sun. Good disease resistance. Blooms from mid-summer to early autumn with purple flowers. In a shady place, the flowers become significantly brighter. Cold-resistant to -34C. Native to the American prairies. Bee magnet.
