Description
Grows naturally in European mountain areas - characteristic of alpine meadows. The bush with dark green hairy foliage bears white trusses of inflorescences in midsummer. Very slow growing when young. Deep taproot can cope even in very difficult conditions. Sunny in poor or normal soil. Good drainage. Very interesting, long-lived and valuable plant for planting areas. Aromatic - also used as a medicinal plant and to flavor foods.
