Description

Naturally grows in deciduous forests of the mountain areas of Central and Southern Europe. Spreads slowly by means of short rhizomes. Variety with white flowers. Hairy aromatic foliage. Blooms (in May) in June-July. Prefers moist, fertile, calcareous soil. Sunny/partially shaded (with diffused light) growing location. Height 20-60 cm.
