Description
A widespread old farmhouse plant. The orange-brown velvety flowers open over several weeks from the beginning of July. Each flower lasts only a day. Grows to 120 cm tall and wide. The plant is edible - the fleshy roots, young shoots, flower buds and flowers can be used stewed, the beautiful flowers are also suitable for eating raw, for example stuffed or as a garnish.
