Description
A new variety of sword that blooms especially abundantly and for a long time. Bred by Elizabeth MacGregor from the Kirkcudbright Nursery in Scotland. The plant was chosen as the plant of the year in Chelsea in 2016. It blooms for 2 months in the first half of summer, then takes a short break and then a new flowering cycle follows until autumn. The first flowers are up to 6.5 cm in diameter, later on abundant flower stalks 5.5 cm. The flowers are sterile, i.e. they do not produce seeds. It is not particularly demanding on the growing soil, but the best is a moderately moist and sunny place with good drainage. Height 30-50 cm
