Description
Unusual rhizome with a spreading root system. Forms a slowly expanding cushion, on which large blue flowers bloom in late summer. Requires sufficiently moist, well-drained soil for successful growth. However, in winter it must be protected from excessive moisture. Height 15 cm. In a frosty winter, it can be covered with spruce branches, for example.
