Description
Evergreen dark purple foliage and contrasting lime green bracts - a real eye-catcher! Height approx. 40 cm. Unlike most milkweeds, almond milkweed prefers a semi-shady location and drier, rich soil with good drainage. It must be protected from early spring sunburn. It can die in excessive winter moisture. Low maintenance requirements.
