Description
In early spring, as soon as the snow melts, in some years as early as mid-February, bright yellow flowers bloom. The closed flowers are somewhat reminiscent of the flowers of the dovecote. A moderately moist alkaline growing site and preferably partial shade are suitable, but full sun is also suitable.
