Description
An easy-to-grow prairie candle species, preferring a sunny or semi-shaded location with good drainage and moist soil. It also tolerates drought well. This variety has large blue flowers that can last for 3-4 weeks in late May-June. Height 80-90 cm. The starchy bulbs were used by the Indians for food.
